TOURS & DIVING

Piaynemo
Piaynemo is one of the most iconic sightseeings in Raja Ampat archipelago. Picturusque Piaynemo is around 2 hrs boat ride from Ketembe
and located middle of the ocean near
Fam islands.
On a Piaynemo trip we are also going to take a look to Star shaped lagoon called Telaga Bintang.
After visiting Piaynemo we take a lunch and go for a snorkeling.

Kali Biru
This half day tour will take you to explore one of the most well kept secrets of Waigeo island.
Kali Biru is crystal clear blue river in the middle of deepest lush jungle. Swim in crystal clear natural spring and enjoy beautiful nature of Raja Ampat.

Kali Biru can be combined also with
one time snorkeling and diving.

Bird of paradise
Wake up before sunrise and experience slowly waking nature around you.

This early morning trek will take you through beautiful jungle to the bird watching view point in Waigeo island.

Choose either Wilson's bird-of-paradise or Red bird-of-paradise tour and enjoy beautiful morning surrounded by exotic Papuanese birds.

Sawandarek snorkeling trip
Beautiful half day snorkeling trip to Mansuar islands Sawandarek jetty and Kri islands Ransiwor reef.

Sawandarek is known for it's giant turtles and big schooling fishes.

Ransiwor has beautiful coral reef
between Kri and Mansuar island.

Friwen
Snorkeling trip to see the best spots around beautiful Friwen island. First we snorkel in coral garden that we call Obet's point after our Captain!

Second spot for snorkeling will be near dive spot called Batu Lima. Friwen island is approximately 20 minutes away from the island.

Pasir Timbul - the Sand bank
Raja Ampat's famous sand bank
Pasir Timbul' is a cute little sand bank in the middle of the ocean.

Pasir Timbul is just next to Kri island and around 40 minutes from Katembe.
On the way back we stop for snorkeling near Friwen island.

Hidden bay
Hidden bay trip takes you to see beautiful hidden bay's and lagoons in Gam island.

Enjoy breathtaking views of Gam island while this trip takes you through famous passage that divides Gam and Waigeo island from each other. a

Lush and beautiful jungle boat trip is excellent way to discover some untouched paradise lagoons of Raja Ampat islands.

Kali Raja
Tour to historical Kali Raja takes you to see beautiful small mushroom shaped islands of Waigeo.

In Kali Raja tour you can also visit famous Batu Pencil rock and enjoy beautiful
boat ride around small

Wayag
Wayag is known of it's hundreds of beautiful small mushroom shaped islands and lagoons.

Wayag is the most iconic landscape in Raja Ampat and views are truly breathtaking.
Islands of Wayag are located in the middle of the ocean and around 4-5 hrs boat ride from Katembe.

Batanta Waterfall
Batanta waterfall is located in the heart of Batanta island. At Batanta waterfall you can swim and
enjoy beautiful nature.

Batanta is located in South Raja Ampat and it takes around 1-2hrs to reach the island from Katembe.

Katembe Private island diving center rents for divers full head to toe gears, such as wetsuits, snorkels, booties and fins. Varied sizes are offered to accommodate incoming divers. The gears are regularly serviced to ensure that they are safe to be utilized by divers.
You can also bring your own gear.

DIVING

Hidden from mass tourism, Raja Ampat is one of the most beautiful and unique travel destinations in Indonesia.

Among divers, Raja Ampat is considered one of the best dive sites and travelers should not miss underwater life.
Raja Ampat is one of the richest coral areas in the world, with over 500 species of different corals in the area.
More than 1,300 species of fish swim in the waters of Raja Ampat and
the highlights here are: large schools of fishes, napoleon wrasse, bumpheads, giant sweetlips, manta rays, reef sharks, wobbegong sharks, walking sharks, turtles, Spanish mackerel, tuna, barracuda, pygmy sea horses, nudibranchs galore, ghost pipefish, cuttlefish, crustaceans and stunning pristine coral reefs.

Waters of Raja Ampat are nutrient rich and currents can be very fast-moving and sudden. This makes environment perfect for migrating mammals and for some pelagic species. Due strong currents and nutrient rich waters visibility can be low sometimes but typically 10-30meters.

Best time for diving is from October to May.
June to september southeast monsoon brings more winds to area and also rough seas.

Raja Ampat is part of the Coral Triangle, which is composed of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands & Timor-Leste. The Coral Triangle is the heart of the world’s coral reef biodiversity.
Raja Ampat is on of the richest coral reef ecosystems in the world.

To get to a Raja Ampat diving spots we use our own private boats. There are big, small and medium boats available. The boat size depends on the number of divers in a particular group.

DIVE SPOTS

From Katembe Private Island you can find few kayaks and stand up paddles and
those are available for free all time.
You can kayak around the island, take a look to our amazing Mangrove forest, snorkel in several spots around the island or take a small
jungle trekking accross the island.
